HERMES demo repository for the DataCite webinar DOIs for Research Software: Increasing Visibility, Connectivity, Citability.
Publication history
This repository has been published automatically with a GitHub Actions continuous integration workflow running hermes.
The way this has worked was:
- A commit was pushed to the
mainbranch. hermesharvested and processed metadata from git history and the CFF file, and created a pull request for curating these metadata.- The metadata was accepted for publication and the pull request was merged.
hermesthen made the publication on Zenodo Sandbox (https://sandbox.zenodo.org/record/1205714) and postprocessed the metadata to update thehermesconfiguration.- It created a second pull request to integrate the Zenodo Sandbox publication record id in the HERMES configuration, so that future releases would be published under the same concept record. This change was accepted and the pull request was merged.
- Two more commits (1, 2) were then made to the
mainbranch, for which a pull request each was created with compiled metadata, the first of which was closed because it wasn't meant to be published, the second of which was merged to create the second publication (https://sandbox.zenodo.org/record/1205723, i.e., a new version of the same concept record).
