README.md

Hello reader,

I am an R statistical programmer who likes to develop content for statistical theory. My progress in R and Statistics so far: 1. In my undergraduate days I developed an R package "fitODBOD" to fit over-dispersed binomial outcome data through various distributions. Recently an Rshiny application named fitODBODRshiny was developed for this package. 2. For the Olympic data I built an Rshiny application and is available as an R package OlympicRshiny. 3. Scraped data from pdf files and built several csv files that include data for the Sri Lankan presidential election results and is now available as an R package SLPresElection. 4. The script data from the tv show "Southpark" was scraped from its wikia website and IMDB website. The resultant data was developed into an R package, Rshiny application was developed. 5. Hosted my previous personal website through the R package blogdown in netlify. Currently, I am using Quarto for a stable personal website. 6. As a graduate student, I aim to develop scalable methods for regression problems under big data.

Go through the repositories in this profile as needed and have fun (also cite).

Thank You.

Best Regards,

Amalan.
