About Project

This project is a Simple Registration Form for prospective students applying to a college. The form collects personal details, parent/guardian information, academic records, and contact details from applicants. Additionally, it asks for specific data like hostel accommodation preferences and college bus requirements.

The form is designed with accessibility in mind and includes validation for email addresses and other important fields. Upon submission, the data is sent via email using the EmailJS service.

Installation

Follow these steps to clone the repository and install the requirements:

1. Clone the repository: bash git clone https://github.com/anandsundaramoorthysa/simple-registration-form.git
2. Navigate into the project directory: bash cd simple-registration-form

3. No dependencies need to be installed for this project, as it only uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

4. Make sure to sign up for an EmailJS account and replace the function in the index.html had unique ID's.

Use/Run the Project

To run the project, follow these steps:

1. Open the index.html file in any modern web browser.
2. The College Registration Form will appear, allowing you to fill in the required fields.
3. After submitting the form, the details will be sent to the specified email address.

Requirements:

• A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
• An EmailJS account for form submission.

Features

• Personal Information: Collects applicant's name, date of birth, gender, blood group, community, religion, and nationality.
• Parent/Guardian Details: Includes parent/guardian names, education, occupation, and income.
• Academic Details: Gathers data regarding previous education, board examinations, and marks obtained.
• Contact Details: Captures the applicant's address, mobile numbers, and email addresses.
• Additional Details: Provides options for hostel accommodation and transportation preferences.
• Form Validation: Ensures that all fields are filled correctly and validates email addresses before submission.
• Email Submission: Uses EmailJS to send form data to a specified email address.
