Code and data for the chapter "Dutch Strong and Weak Pronouns as a Stylistic Marker of Literariness"

This repository is intended for documentation purposes. Due to copyright restrictions, not all data required for reproducing the results can be shared.

Files

  • notebook.ipynb: notebook with all code used to produce the results. The notebook can be viewed online here: https://nbviewer.jupyter.org/github/andreasvc/strongweaklit/blob/main/notebook.ipynb
  • Riddle strong and weak pronouns.tsv: manual annotations as used in the notebook and section 4.1 of the chapter.
  • lassylarge_strong.csv: lists number of matches for strong pronouns per file in Lassy Large (NB: in the notebook, this file is referred to as lassybig_strong.csv)
  • lassylarge_weak.csv: same as above, but for weak pronouns (NB: in the notebook, this file is referred to as lassybig_weak.csv)
  • LICENSE: GPL 3.0 license
