Repo for our ProfNER contribution. The system1_transformer scored highest among all participants in the subtracks 7a and 7b.

You can find a summary of the tasks and a detailed description of our systems in the system_description.pdf

To reproduce the results please have a look at the experiments/system1_transformer.ipynb and system2_rnn.ipynb notebook.
