Indicador de Complejidad de Restricciones Cambiarias (ICReC)
Dataset with an indicator of capital controls and exchange rate market restrictions by country
This indicator provides a very simple approach to quickly quantify the complexity of exchange rate market regulations in a country, based on the Annual Report on Exchange Arrangements and Exchange Restrictions (AREAER) issued by the IMF on a yearly basis.
