This release provides a harmonized labor database for Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru. It links occupations to four economic functions: Fabrication (FAB), Marketing (MAR), Management (MNG), and Research (RD), using microdata from official statistical agencies and the methodology of Timmer et al. (2019).

The dataset is compatible with global studies and supports analyses of functional specialization and value chains in Latin America.
