NFDRS4-TechDoc

Here we provide a set of Jupyter Notebooks that demonstrate the comparisons and analysis used to the develop the technical publication for the US National Fire Danger Rating System Version 4.0. These workbooks produce most of the analyses and statistics reported in the final publication with the exception of the model comparison workbook which present an example analysis for one of the six National Forests.

Growing Season Index-based live fuel moisture model

The GSI-based live fuel moisture content model used in NFDRS Version 4.0 is presented in this workbook: GSI-LFMC Model

Model comparison and evaluation core framework
