Lyme case Ascertainment Code and Data
This repository support the analysis in Lyme Disease under-ascertainment during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and North Carolina: a retrospective analysis by Jones et al.
Data Sources
- Case data by county across the United States retrieved from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
- Case data by county in North Carolina over time retrieved from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) website
- Monthly communicable disease reports retrieved from NCDHHS
- County population estimates from https://www.osbm.nc.gov/facts-figures/population-demographics/state-demographer/countystate-population-projections
- Us populations from https://population.un.org/
- Google mobility data downloaded directly from Google Mobility reports (too large for GitHub)
