- Make Uniprot data updated in refresh operations by default.
- Search queries allow for specifying
namespaceas an array of allowed namespaces to search. Previously, only a single namespace was allowed. - Set the default to
namespace = ['ncbi', 'chebi']so that other namespaces can be indexed but not included in searches by default (e.g. Uniprot). - Fix: Check for gene names before adding to synonym list.
- Fix: Add sanity check re. downloads in case of error from database provider servers.

omitListincorrectly applied in certain XML parsing cases.
