# CONICOPF: Conic Relaxations of the Optimal Power Flow Problem

CONICOPF is a MATLAB-based package for solving conic relaxations of the optimal power flow (OPF) problem, based on the following papers:

+ C. Bingane, M. F. Anjos, and S. Le Digabel. [Tight-and-cheap conic relaxation for the AC optimal power flow problem](https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/8392367). *IEEE Transactions on Power Systems*, 33(6): 71817188, 2018.

+ C. Bingane, M. F. Anjos, and S. Le Digabel. [Tight-and-cheap conic relaxation for the optimal reactive power dispatch problem](https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8695875). *IEEE Transactions on Power Systems*, 34(6): 46844693, 2019.

+ C. Bingane, M. F. Anjos, and S. Le Digabel. [CONICOPF: Conic relaxations for AC optimal power flow computations](https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9637865). In *2021 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting (PESGM)*, Washington, DC, USA, 2021.

## Basic Requirements

Using CONICOPF requires that [MATPOWER](http://www.pserc.cornell.edu/matpower/) and [CVX](http://cvxr.com/cvx/) be installed and the input test case be in MATPOWER format.
