GDCM decoder/transcoder plugin for Orthanc ========================================== General Information ------------------- This repository contains the source code of a plugin for Orthanc, the lightweight, RESTful DICOM server, that allows to decode and transcode DICOM images using GDCM. This plugin, without the transcoding primitives, was part of the samples of Orthanc < 1.7.0. Dependencies ------------ This plugin is based upon the GDCM project, an open-source implementation of the DICOM standard with advanced features for image decoding, by Mathieu Malaterre: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gdcm/ Installation and usage ---------------------- Build and usage instructions are available in the Orthanc Book: https://orthanc.uclouvain.be/book/plugins/gdcm.html Contributing ------------ Instructions for contributing to the Orthanc project are included in the Orthanc Book: https://orthanc.uclouvain.be/book/developers/repositories.html Licensing --------- The GDCM plugin for Orthanc is licensed under the GPLv3 license. We also kindly ask scientific works and clinical studies that make use of Orthanc to cite Orthanc in their associated publications. Similarly, we ask open-source and closed-source products that make use of Orthanc to warn us about this use.
