Shotgun-Metagenomics-Analysis v1.0.0

This is the first release of the shotgun metagenomics analysis pipeline developed by the University of Sydney's Sydney Informatics Hub, in conjunction an interdisciplinary team of researchers and bioinformaticians.

Modern sequencing technology produces an immense amount of data, and to make use of this data we must follow many convoluted processes and steps. Our pipeline takes the guess work out of it, with proven and effective scripts that will accelerate your analysis process, all the while making your science more reproducible.

Future releases may add support for more computing environments, continuous integration, and more advanced downstream analysis.
