Changes

• Manually specify image scale in px/mm. If this is specified, needle ROI rectangle does not need to be selected. Needle diameter input is still used to calculate Worthington.
• Update to SUNDIALS 7

Note: Windows standalone build is a patched version of v3.3.1 that just implements the manual image scale px/mm feature.

Changes

IFT: - New C++ solver for Young-Laplace equations. - More robust drop edge and needle detection. - Gravity is now fixed to 9.81.

Contact angle: - Performance fixes. - Analysis now fits a circle to points on left and right side near the baseline to measure contact angle. - Drop edge detection is more robust to ignore noise and baseline.

General: - Images loaded from files are now converted to grayscale to conserve memory usage. - "Annotated" images are no longer saved - Plots are no longer saved by default. - UI changes. - New build dependencies: Boost.Math and SUNDIALS ARKODE

OpenDrop - OpenDrop v3.1.6dev0

Functionally similar to version2, but with improved user interface, see Usage for screenshots and user guide.

Needle controller and Flea3 camera support is not yet implemented.

User input validation of UI elements are not yet implemented either, invalid inputs may crash the program.

Core dependencies have also changed, view Getting Started for new installation instructions.

Binaries for Windows have been included, unzip and run 'opendrop.exe' to launch the program. The app is not 'portable' in the sense that preference files will be saved in their default locations on other parts of the user's drive by libraries such as Matplotlib and GTK.
