The new python script includes a refactored python code similar to the previous MTGaussianFitting.py file but in an object oriented programmable format. The aim is to ensure that the code can be easily managed in a more dynamics way.

This is used to estimate or calculate the calculate / estimate the radius of a spherical or near spherical object by fitting a gaussian function to a spatial distribution. This is typically adopted to the spindle centrosome size from a electron tomographic dataset.
