Version 0.03 Release Notes

Includes several improvements, corrections, and feature updates for the codebase supporting our modeling framework. This release focuses on enhancing model accuracy, usability, and visualization.

Key Updates:

1. Refined Model Logic Corrected daily and annual irrigation water use calculations to align with regional evapotranspiration (ETa) values. Adjusted input variables and output scenarios for improved consistency with hydrological and agricultural benchmarks. Enhanced causal relationships in the conceptual model to accurately reflect water flow dynamics.

2. Improved Visualization Updated figures to reflect accurate relationships between variables. Redesigned legends for clarity and standardized their position at the bottom of multi-panel plots. Adjusted axis labels to display month names instead of numbers for improved readability.

3. Codebase Enhancements Streamlined R scripts to ensure alignment between conceptual models and simulation outputs. Introduced cleaner workflows for plotting and exporting high-quality figures (SVG and PNG formats). Enhanced patchwork layouts for better figure organization, including improved y-axis alignment and proportional panel sizing.

4. Bug Fixes Resolved inconsistencies in Monte Carlo simulation outputs for irrigation scenarios. Fixed issues with legend placement in patchwork figures using & theme(legend.position = "bottom"). Addressed minor errors in figure captions and annotations.
