*This work is partly funded by the [AHRC research](https://gtr.ukri.org/projects?ref=AH%2FW007290%2F1) to build lexical resources for Enggano, led by the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics at the University of Oxford, UK. Visit the [central webpage of the Enggano project](https://enggano.ling-phil.ox.ac.uk/)*. [![Project Status: WIP – Initial development is in progress, but there has not yet been a stable, usable release suitable for the public.](https://www.repostatus.org/badges/latest/wip.svg)](https://www.repostatus.org/#wip) [![](https://img.shields.io/badge/OSF-10.17605/OSF.IO/P8A3R-green.svg)](https://doi.org/10.17605/OSF.IO/P8A3R) ## Overview A repository hosting (a work-in-progress for) the digitised and curated dataset of the Holle List vocabularies of languages off the west coast of Sumatra, Indonesia [@holle1987; @holleli1980]. The goal is to allow computational matching between the vocabularies of these languages with the [main, digitised Holle List](https://engganolang.github.io/digitised-holle-list/) [@rajeg2023]. The matching will provide the English, Dutch, and Indonesian translations for these vocabularies that are carried over from the main Holle List. Please [cite](https://github.com/complexico/holle-list-barrier-islands/blob/main/CITATION.cff) this repository and the presentation about the project [@rajeg_ds_2025] as follows: > Rajeg, G. P. This is part of a [class project](https://github.com/complexico/lexico-holle-list-barrier-islands) to introduce *WeSay* to the students. ### References
