# ESOM Disaggregation with ML

This repository contains the supplementary material to replicate the results in the preprint *Disaggregation of Energy System Optimization Models Using Machine Learning for Identification of Active Constraints* ([10.1016/j.segan.2025.101772](https://doi.org/10.1016/j.segan.2025.101772))

- [**Appendix**](appendix.pdf): Supplementary material with detailed model formulation, additional machine learning results and parallelization setup

- **classifier.py**: contains the code to replicate the training and validation of the machine learning algorithms

- **template.py, transport.py**: contains the Pyomo models used to test the dissaggregation process. The input data can be found in 10.3217/kf8wx-x7218
