MrLavaLoba

stochastic model for lava flows usage:

python mrlavaloba.py

See the input file input_data.py for the definition of the input parameters

This code needs:

  • installation of matplotlib (https://matplotlib.org/) and numpy (http://www.numpy.org/);

  • the python script rtnorm.py, developed by C. Lassner (https://github.com/classner/py-rtnorm) for the simulation of a Gaussian distribution defined on a finite interval;

  • the script shapefile.py, developed by jlawheadgeospatialpython.com (https://github.com/GeospatialPython/pyshp), which provides read and write support for ESRI Shapefiles.
