Distance sampling in the presence of gradient with respect to transect

The objective of this repository is to work towards developing an R package that implements the methods described in

Marques, T. A., S. T. Buckland, R. Bispo, and B. Howland. 2013. Accounting for animal density gradients using independent information in distance sampling surveys. Statistical Methods and Applications 22:67–80.

This is currently a pet project by Eric Rexstad and Tiago A. Marques.
