Ecological Metadata as Linked Data - emld: Ecological Metadata as Linked Data

This package provides an approach which transform the XML-based Ecological Metadata Language (EML) files into JSON-LD. This allows the EML metadata information to both be accessed in the developer-friendly JSON format, and also be leveraged as semantic or linked data (the Resource Description Framework, RDF), which enables powerful SPARQL queries. Examples of these applications are provided.
