inscopix-cnmfe - Initial Release of Inscopix CNMF-E
Initial release of the Inscopix CNMF-E algorithm. This release includes the following main features:
- Ability to process a tiff movie file (uint16, float32) using Inscopix CNMF-E via Python, C++, or Docker.
- Option to save the output to disk as a tiff file (footprints) and a csv file (traces), or as a single h5 files with keys "footprints" and "traces".
- Ability to specify the output units of the temporal traces (dF, dF over noise).
- Ability to choose from 3 processing modes with additional control over the amount of parallelism used for processing.
- A full guide to tweak and optimize processing parameters is provided.
- A performance comparison between Inscopix CNMF-E and CaImAn is documented and made available.
- Instructions for developers are provided for those interested in compiling or contributing to the package.
