actipass - Source only release version 2025.04
We have now released ActiPASS version 2025.04. New features and changes compared to previously released version are: 1. ActiPASS is now compiled with a more recent version of MATLAB and comes with its own installer. It will now be installed as any other software. This means the installer will also take care of MATLAB runtime requirements. 2. Improvements to quality-check user interface (including browsing quality-check visualizations using the UI) 3. Experimental features (Sit-to-stand speed detection, transportation detection) 4. Minor bug fixes

actipass - Source only release version 2024.06
Experimental support for Movisens Move 4 series accelerometers. See ActiPASS wiki for more info.
It is now possible to specify the device-type in generic CSV file format. This allows device specific changes to classification algorithms even while using the generic CSV files. For an example, for SENS accelerometers Acti4/ActiPASS already incorporates such a change. See more info here.

actipass - Source only release version 2024.05
ActiPASS release 2024.05 New features: 1. Supports an additional trunk-worn accelerometer under advanced mode of operation. This is a result of our collaboration with PRECISE project and special thanks goes to Hannah Frankel. a. Trunk accelerometer can be used for lying-down detection instead of thigh b. Forward-bending data (while standing, sitting etc) can be generated from trunk accelerometer. ActiPASS generates the same trunk related variables as Acti4. 2. Supports loading data from a generic CSV file format. For more information see readGenericCSV.m. A big thanks goes to Claas Lendt. 3. Minor UI improvements: a. ActiPASS can now skip diary and calibration file opening dialogs.
New release version format: 1. From this version onwards ActiPASS will use YYYY.MM versioning format. We believe this format is easier to refer to and to keep track of.
Including main Activity detection algorithms:
- Source release now include all algorithms (Since Acti4 is also now fully open)
