InterShear

Open-source simulation framework for generating shearographic phase maps from FEM data.

Note to Reviewers

This repository has been created in connection with our submission to Optics Express (Manuscript ID: 572513, Title: Simulation of Speckle Interferometric Results for Enhanced Measurement and Automated Defect Detection).

Currently, the repository is public but does not yet contain the code or related materials. These will be added and made fully available upon acceptance of the paper to ensure reproducibility and support open science.

If you wish to review the code or materials prior to acceptance, please feel free to contact me using the details provided in the manuscript. I am happy to provide early access upon request.

  • Import of FEM displacement data for various mechanical loading states
  • Planned support for cumulative evaluation of multiple load steps
  • Coordinate transformations and extraction of arbitrary subregions
  • Visualization of displacement gradients in both x and y directions
  • Support for out-of-plane (OOP) shearographic and holographic simulation
  • In-plane (IP) deformation simulation planned for future release
