Developments in next generation sequencing

Summarises the developments in (next generation) sequencing. The data is based on the throughput metrics for the different platforms since their first instrument version came out.The figures visualise the results by plotting throughput in raw bases versus read length. Unless stated otherwise, released under a CC BY license.
