Major rewrite and refactoring of main modules, including API-breaking changes without backwards compatibility. Code has been rewritten to be more modular, to allow for easier expansion and modification. Documentation has been added to all modules and functions. The testing suite has been updated and expanded. Automatic testing has been moved from TravisCI to GitHub workflows.
