nrel-emerge - Version 1.0.0 - Inaugural Release of NREL Emerge Python Package
We are excited to announce the first release of NREL-emerge python package, version 1.0.0. NREL-emerge can be used by energy professionals and researchers to understand impact of distributed energy resource (DER's) scenarios in distribution grid using risk metrics.
Key Highlights:
- Ability to model distributed energy resource (DER) deployment scenarios
- Ability to run power flow simulation across multiple models, multiple scenarios using parallel computation using OpenDSS
- Ability to compute risk based metrics as well as other traditional metrics based on results from steady state power flow analysis
- Light weight UI (still under development)
- Python
