nalu-wind - v2.3.0

This version is compatible with adaptive timestepping of the overset solver (exawind-driver v2.0.0).

Otherwise, there are few changes from the previous Nalu-Wind version. These include a more robust version of the symmetry boundary condition for volumeoffluid, which is used at wall boundaries.

This is the version of the code that was used to run the ExaWind exascale computing challenge problem and represents the culmination of that work. It was run with the 8b3e2e1db4c7e07db13225c73057230c4814706f commit of Trilinos.

nalu-wind - Nalu-Wind v1.3.0

Notable changes since last release:

• Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) for all stratifications (see wind-energy repo)
• Blade-resolved wind-turbine simulations
  • Coupled and decoupled overset mesh simulations using TIOGA
  • New time-stepping algorithm (NAWEA 2019)
  • Hybrid solver coupling with AMR-Wind
• GPU execution of all relevant edge-based algorithms/kernels with NVIDA CUDA
