Norwegian Summary
- Presentasjon: "Vaner"

About Helseuka (Health Week)
Helseuka is a collaboration between the Faculty of Health Sciences at UiT and the Northern Norwegian Science Centre (NNV), offering education for Year 9 students in Tromsø schools. The programme focuses on central health topics including nutrition, mental health, exercise, and educational choices, aligned with the LK20 curriculum's interdisciplinary theme "Public Health and Life Skills". The goal is to provide students with competence about what promotes good mental and physical health, enabling them to make responsible life choices.
Presentation Content
The "Habits" presentation explored how our daily routines and thought patterns shape our lives in profound ways. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, students learned about the difference between good and bad habits, how negative thought spirals can develop, and most importantly - how they can take control of their own habits to create positive change. The topic was presented as one of the most fundamental yet underestimated phenomena affecting us daily. Students gained insight into how habits function both at behavioural and cognitive levels, as well as concrete strategies for breaking negative patterns and establishing constructive routines.
