Hi, I'm Abbas! 👋
I’m a senior at Rice University majoring in Computer Science and Statistics with a minor in Data Science. I’m passionate about learning and applying modern technologies in data science, machine learning, and AI to solve real-world problems and create positive social impact in fields like technology, healthcare, and beyond.
I'm currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at GE HealthCare, developing machine learning tools to improve diagnostics for CT scanner systems. During the school year, I'm involved in research in the Optima Lab at Rice University where I work on algorithms for compression of large-scale neural networks, and I lead Biokind Analytics, a nonprofit that provides free data analysis services for healthcare-focused nonprofit organizations.
