The CORDERLY software analyses colloidal ordering via the 2D fast Fourier transform, the radial distribution function, the spatial distribution function, and the angular distribution. The spatial distribution function plots the resulting analysis in Cartesian and polar coordinates (angular distribution). For more details, see the scientific publication in Langmuir: https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.langmuir.9b02877.

CORDERLY

Summary

The CORDERLY software is offered as a MATLAB GUI and a stand alone software for both Windows and Mac. This software analyses colloidal ordering via the 2D fast Fourier transform, the radial distribution function, the spatial distribution function, and the angular distribution. The spatial distribution function plots the resulting analysis in Cartesian and polar coordinates (angular distribution). For more details, see the scientific publication in Langmuir: https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.langmuir.9b02877.

Installation Instructions

To install CORDERLY, select the appropriate release, i.e. the MATLAB GUI, or the stand alone software for Windows or Mac.

Using CORDERLY

The user must upload an image (for the Fourier transform) or the positional data (for the radial distribution function, spatial distribution function and angular distribution) as a .txt, .mat, or excel file. CORDERLY then produces the appropriate image or plot based on the user inputs. Further instructions are provided below and in the Help section of the software.

To obain the positional data:

Fast Fourier Transform (2D-FFT)

Radial Distribution Function (RDF)

Spatial Distribution Function (SDF)

Angular Distribution
