Learning Climate Dynamics
This is a personal repo for storing my self-study projects regarding climate dynamics, climatic time series analysis, & related topics.
Pictured: The El Niño 3.4 anomaly, along with a hindcast via a recurrent neural network (RNN). The time period of Jan. 1993 - Dec. 1999 is in the training sample, and the network is predicting the anomaly from Jan. 2000 onwards without seeing any data from this time period.
