The function was moved from vegan where it has been since release 1.11-0 (2008), but will now be deprecated and removed.

This is a maintenance release that fixes CRAN test issues that emerged after vegan 2.5-3 release. There are no user-visible changes.

vegan3d - CRAN release 1.1-0

The scatterplot3d package release 0.3-40 gained an option to set equal aspect ratio on all axes, and this release adapts vegan3d to this new feature. The graphs may now look very different, because the axes and enclosing box are now scaled to the range of the points. Earlier we had a kluge that extended axes beyond data points to achieve equal aspect ratio.

vegan3d - CRAN release 1.0-0

  • update dynamic 3D plots to rgl-0.95
  • export orglspider (bug fix)
  • update NAMESPACE to current CRAN rules
  • new functions orglcluster, orglspantree and orglellipse to add elements to ordirgl plots
  • new functions orditree3d (scatterplot3d-based) and ordirgltree (rgl-based) to draw a cluster dendrogram over a 2D plane (ordination result, something else)
  • improved handling of colours of drawn elements
  • fancier look of ordirgl with points as spheres
